Vacances Park Playa Barà opened in 1970 and is now one of Europe's most modern and complete holiday parks.
The complex has received various awards and distinctions from institutions such as the Ministry of Tourism and the Government of Catalonia, in recognition of the exceptional conditions of the park and of the range of services offered.
Vacances Park Playa Barà, occupying over 40.000 square metres, is located in the most elegant region of the Costa Dorada, beside a royal castle and surrounded by a residential zone of chalets with large green spaces. Its beaches are typical of the Costa Dorada, while the wild and rocky neighbouring coastline is fantastic for divers.

Vacances Park Playa Barà comprises a number of different areas, but the main work commissioned involved the amphitheatre, given its importance and centrality in the complex as a whole.
The amphitheatre, built to imitate an ancient Roman amphitheatre, has a large space for dancing and is surrounded by fountains, waterfalls and palm trees.
The attention of the project team focussed on the coordinated lighting of the entire setting.
The lighting system was created using only D.T.S. LED projectors, chosen for their many characteristics ideal for an installation of this type, which include an infinite range of colour variations (up to 16 millions colours generated), the possibility of linear regulation of colour temperature from 3200°K to 6500°K, IP 68 or IP65 protection levels, essential for use in contact with water, and equally important an extremely low consumption of electricity.

DIVE 3 FULL COLOUR (IP68) inserted in the fountains (underwater illumination) and positioned behind the waterfalls surrounding the stage (backlighting), controlled by Z60 power packs (12V).
TITAN RGBA suspended to the sides of the waterfalls (stage lighting).
DELTA 7 RGB R suspended to the sides of the waterfalls and positioned on stage (stage lighting).
HELIOS RGB fixed to tree trunks (illumination of the palm trees and vegetation around the amphitheatre), controlled by Z4 power packs.
