* overview
Maquinaria is a festival that brings together a variety of entertainment styles, blending music (pop, rock, hip hop, electronic), urban art and multimedia presentations.
An event at an international level, Maquinaria caters for a public looking for many different emotions apart from music.
One example of this bridge between music and urban art is the massive mural painted during the festival, with forms and colours symbolizing the essence and spirit of Maquinaria.
Maquinaria took place on 7 and 8 November at São Paulo’s Chácara do Jockey.
The musical offerings were as always of the highest level, with Brazilian band Sepultura, Mike Patton’s reformed Faith No More, Jane’s Addiction with Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro, the Deftones, Evanescence and Panic! at the Disco.

The lighting design gave preference to saturated and aggressive colours to match the mood of Maquinaria’s music, with an ample use of XR2000 BEAM moving heads.
