Overview
The Mandaloun is a historical Club, restaurant and live venue which rises in the clubbing area of Mar-Mikhael, in Beirut. A prestigious club, which since 1974 has been continuously renewed, remaining the focal point for both Lebanese and foreign elite. An ideal place to dine, dance and listen to live music.
Installation
The owner of the Mandaloun, Charif Doumit, has entrusted Triangle Sound & Image (a Lebanese company renowned for its expertise and creativity in high-level facilities in the most important clubs in the region) with the task of designing and setting up the new lighting, audio and video systems. The lighting system designed for the Mandaloun includes an array of XR300 BEAM moving heads (the first ones to be installed in a Beirut club), placed on the outer edge of a large circular LED screen located on the back wall behind the stage. In addition, for the lighting and special effects of the stage (which periodically hosts a wide range of live shows, from Arabic music to rock concerts) 9 XR8 SPOT moving heads have been used (3 per each side, plus 3 at the back of the club, facing towards the stage). Another 5 PROFILO shapers and 12 SCENA theatre projectors complete the set-up.
