Overview
The volleyball complex "Amber" is the greatest sports arena in the Kaliningrad area. Its construction was part of the federal program on development of sports, under the special assignment of the prime minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Amber meets all requirements of the international federation of volleyball and is capable to accept competitions of any level, including Olympic games. The structure can hold 7.200 people.
Installation
The palace of sports offers also the opportunity to carry out a range of entertainment events. In this regard, Imlight designed and provided a complete audio and lighting system, ready to set up and use for concerts and festivals. The lighting project met the energy saving regulations, by using the XR750 WASH and XR700 SPOT moving heads, which generate a massive luminosity using only a 700 W discharge lamp. 40 XR Series fixtures have been installed; wireless DMX transmission is managed via 12 ANTENNA wireless DMX transmitter / receiver systems.
